We’re back for a second installment of Wackness Wednesday for that ass.

This week, it pains me (Landis) to bring you a song from my favorite rapper, Session. So, in order for the readers not to get the wrong idea of my dude, I’m going to remind you to that I posted this link a while ago, raving about how nice he is.

I don’t think the links are working, so let me upload some songs here (I’m trying my damnedest not to make you think he’s wack).

Session – Who the F*ck are you?

And now… on to the wackness…

Landis:
Right from jump street, even the single cover art is terribly wack. I understand that this is a grimey, uber-explicit song that expresses the inner carnal desires of most men, but it’s just bad. Though, you have to commend Tonedeff for the creative lettering of the song title.

As soon as the song starts, I’m already mad at it. The techy beat is too deep to really notice the change in tones. It just sounds like a bunch of angry bumble bees. Then comes the Super Mario Bros. warp sound sped up, followed by the Pac Man effect. It’s all bad, and I’m surprised that this song/cover actually came from the QN5 camp. It’s even more surprising that it someone though it was a good idea to release this song.

The lyrics are so simple and dumb, it’s painful to listen to the song. I get happy when the hook comes, but it’s not because it’s good (it’s wack, too). It’s because I don’t have to listen to Session try to sound witty while remaining dirty at the same time.

The best part about this song is that it’s one is 2:48 second. Verse, hook, verse, hook, end of torture.

Imagine if your favorite rapper did something like this. How mad would you be at Jay-Z for a song this bad? That’s how I feel about Session, after listening to this song.

So, we ask you, good folks of CrossPhazer, what do you think of this song? Does it deserve the vitriol it is receiving? Are we too harsh? Don’t be afraid to spit your own venom. Just do me (and Session) a favor and forget you ever heard this song immediately after closing this window. Ok? Thanks.

P.S. Now you know that anyone can get it on Wackness Wednesday. So, publicists and artists, if Landis can roast his favorite rapper, you’re not exempt.

Have Fun.
