Actor Jon Voight Calls the President a False Prophet

I was watching CNN yesterday when I saw a video clip of actor Jon Voight voicing his opinion about President Barack Obama. In this country built on the perception of free speech and political freedom Voight has done nothing wrong. I just think that he put his foot in his mouth over and over again.

Let me count the ways…

Mr. Voight, you say that there is the possibility of another holocaust. According to the dictionary.com a holocaust (with a lower case “h”) refers to a destruction on a mass scale. So when you say “another” holocaust are you talking about a destruction after the one that former President George W. Bush commissioned in the Middle East?

Who is going to protect Ameri—uh…—Isreal? You criticize the president for trying to bring everyone together to work at a solution and at the same time imply that our country should be policing Isreal. Chose one and stick with it.

Everything that Obama recommends has been a disaster?
Let’s take a time out to teach you a lesson in political decorum. When a man holds the office of President of the United States you do not call him by his last name as if he’s one of your high school buddies. I believe a “President” goes in front of “Obama.” If he was in front of you I bet you wouldn’t call him by his last name, would you?

But back on topic…
PRESIDENT Obama stopped funding for establishments that allow abortions, promoted disclosure of government acts, ordered a troop withdrawal from Iraq, demanded the closing of Guantanamo Bay, pushed America towards energy independence and reduced secrecy of presidential records. It does not seem that everything he did was a disaster, it just seems like it’s in stark contrast to his predecessor.

Every movie that you play a major role in turns out t be a disaster.
Bratz?
Baby Geniuses 2?
The Legend of Simon Conjurer? Did that even hit the theatres?

I suggest you look in the mirror before you start calling other people’s works a disaster.

If governmental disclosure and proper treatment of refugees is a disaster then I suggest you move to North Korea and shut up.

You then go on to remenisce on the days when “we were the liberators of the entire world.” But what about the fact that you don’t want us to come together with the leaders of the world to come to a compromise.

I get it. You don’t want a free world where everyone. You’d prefer the US to run and “liberate” countries and instill our form of government on them? I gotcha. My bad, I thought you lived in a country that practiced democracy. I won’t make that mistake again.

Immediately after saying that you want to “liberate the entire world” you call PRESIDENT Obama out of his name and compare him to Julius Caesar.

History is not my strong point, but wikipedia tells me that Ceasar started a civil war and took over in order to take over the Roman world. That sounds a little more like Dubya than it does PRESIDENT Obama.

You say that we are in a “[PRESIDENT] Obama Oppresion.” That’s such an oxymoron that I don’t even want to address it.

Last and certainly not least, “this false prophet, [PRESIDENT] Obama.”
I’ve listened to A LOT of talks by the president. I’ve read speeches and I watched interviews. Maybe you saw one that I didn’t, but I can’t recall one when PRESIDENT Obama called himself a prophet. Nor can I recollect him asking for people to become his followers.

Only the GOP is of the “right frame of mind?” You mean people like you and Bill O’Reilly? I gotcha

You’re right. Follow that frame of mind to lead you to the promise land.

This is the type of thing I will be addressing when Chrome and I get “Students of the Game” jumped off. So stay tuned for the best video blog you haven’t seen yet.

Have Fun.
